Get Connected Faster: Lift AI's New Sensor Unit Onboarding

April 27, 2023

We've got some exciting news to share with you today. At Lift AI, we're always looking for ways to improve your experience. That's why we've made some big changes to the Sensor Unit onboarding process to make it easier, faster, and more streamlined than ever before.

Our IoT sensor is an integral part of the Lift AI software suite. The sensor acts as a powerful data collection and analysis tool, recording detailed usage and performance data that is fed into our software platform and products.

Until now, getting the Sensor Units installed and registered was a somewhat cumbersome process. We understand that your time is valuable, and you need a solution that is both easy and efficient. That's why we have streamlined the entire process, making it more user-friendly and accessible.

Here are the improvements:

1. We've created step-by-step instructions on how to register and install your devices. These instructions will be sent to your email and included in every box containing the Sensor Units.

2. We've made it possible for you to register the Sensor Units days or even weeks in advance of the day of installation. This allows you to reduce the installation time even further, by providing the device with information about the elevator it will be installed on before the on site visit.

3. We've improved the app with a new Sensor Units Page, where you'll be able to see the status of your devices and make sure they have been properly registered. And once they're installed, you can continue to monitor their status and performance, all from the same convenient app.

We're really excited about these changes, and we think you will be too. Our goal is to make Lift AI the most user-friendly and convenient solution out there, and we think these updates take us one step closer to that goal.

With your Sensor Units installed, you'll be ready to start gathering useful data about your elevators that will contribute to a connected elevator management system that enhances your efficiency and maximizes the value of your elevator assets.

Coming soon…

We are not done yet, and we will continue to make updates to the onboarding experience. Here is a sneak peek at what is coming:

1. …restart Sensor Units from the app in case of error.

2. …mark elevators as undergoing maintenance for more accurate information / reporting

3. …receive notifications when there are voltage & general power issues

We want to hear from you
